Guardiola knows Lewandowski's class, doesn't expect another gala

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola doesn't expectanother five-goal gala from Robert Lewandowski on Saturday in Mainz,but aims for victory there to enter the following showdown withBorussia Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga table.Guardiola told a news conference Friday he knows the class ofLewandowski, "regardless whether he scores one goal or five."The Poland forward Lewandowski scored the five goals in nine minutesas came off the subs' bench on Tuesday in Bayern's 5-1 demolition oflast season's runners-up VfL Wolfsburg. Lewandowski's achievementdrew worldwide praise and Guardiola said it was also good for hisconfidence.
The coach said that Mainz was among the stadiums where it is tough toplay but that Bayern aim to make it seven wins out of seven to"protect first place."
Munich are two points ahead of Dortmund, who host Darmstadt Sunday,and the two rivals meet in Munich on October 4. The 2011 and 2012champions Dortmund dropped their points of the season in a 1-1 drawat Hoffenheim Wednesday.
